BEACHSIDE COTTAGE

At the head of Garrison Cove this cottage can't get much closer to the beach!  The views are over to the Cribstone Bridge and Cook's Lobster House. Enjoy beach coming, swimming or just sitting and soaking up the sun! The cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a full size bed the other with a set of bunks and a 3/4 bath. The cottage is open and bright with a small breakfast bar. The living room faces the cove, a deck that faces the cove and there is a haul -off if you have a small boat and a small row boat for use. There is cable TV and internet service. Pets are welcome with a higher damage deposit. Accommodates: 4

MANDERLEY

Manderley Cottage is a year-round ocean front home on Bailey Island, with phenomenal open-ocean views over Harpswell Sound and the islands of Casco Bay.  Enjoy the vista of beautiful sea views, busy lobster boats and peaceful kayakers from the spacious three sided deck, or from floor to ceiling picture windows from the dining and living areas.  Walk the rocky beach, or to the famous Cribstone Bridge; Cook's Lobster House, or pleasant Cedar Beach nearby.  You can also walk to the nearby pier of the Casco Bay Lines for two hour excursions on Casco Bay on the famous "Island Romance" in the summer months.  The main floor includes a queen-bedded master bedroom in knotty pine with TV/DVD and two cozy paneled guest rooms - one leading to the other, both with full size beds.  All three bedrooms have spacious and lighted closets and dressers, blankets and pillows included. The living area features a fully equipped kitchen in classic knotty pine with modern stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, garbage disposal, pure spring-fed drinking water and coffee maker.  A full bath includes washer, dryer and bath linens.  Spacious dining and living room has comfortable furniture, a working fireplace (provide your own wood), large local-cable TV/DVD, phone, and fully stocked bookcases for reading on the deck.  The large gated deck includes lawn furniture, picnic table, small charcoal grill, and leads to a fenced dog run on the west side of the house.   Pets are welcome at Manderley Cottage. A walk-out semi-finished basement provides a second full bath with bath linen, and another set of ocean view floor to ceiling picture windows.  House has heating for the occasional chilly evening.

 WATER'S EDGE COTTAGE

 Wake up to the gorgeous Maine sunrises over the open ocean and be lulled to sleep listening to the water gently slap against the ledges. On the starlit nights enjoy a fire in the fire pit nestled in the rocks on the beach. The cottage has 3 bedrooms with 2 full and 2 twins. The bathroom is updated and has a shower. The floors are being refinished and the roof has been replaced this spring. THE JUNIPER

 Beautiful, classic single shingle summer home built in 1905 and updated in 2011. This charming cottage has original, refinished Douglas wood floors throughout. There are lots of windows to let the sun in. The living room features a full size new comfortable sofa, upholstered chairs, fireplace and flat screen TV. The dining room opens into the kitchen with an eat at island and a   fully appointed kitchen including microwave, dishwasher. The large screened porch leads to a large outdoor deck with BBQ, a picnic table and comfortable outdoor furniture. There is a small upstairs study area tucked in under a skylight with a full size desk, powerful internet router and new printer. The house is newly painted with brand new LL Bean furniture and rugs in a crisp, nautical blue and white decorating style. Every amenity is included in the rental, new towels, sheets, all conveniences and appliances, beach chairs and, toys, games, etc. There is a flower, fruit and vegetable garden on the large ¾ acre wide sunny yard for your enjoyment. The house is cozy but free-flowing, so you will never get cabin fever, but Brunswick and Bath are nearby should you develop a yen for "city life," and Freeport - with all its discount shops- is only a half hour away. ORCHID HARBOR

Enjoy southwesterly views with wonderful sunsets over Merriconeag Sound. The cottage has access to a lovely beach area with a large lawn to enjoy too. There is a kitchen, dining room, den and living room a 3/4 bath down stairs. 3 Bedrooms and a full bath upstairs.  The bedrooms have 1 queen in one room, 1 full, and in the third bedroom has a queen and 2 twins.  The kitchen has a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, w/d, TV, VCR, DVD, cable TV, radio, phone, heat for those chilly nights, woodstove, filtered water, charcoal grill, and lawn furniture.  There is a separate apartment with separate entrance and driveway at this house, which can be used for spill over! The cost of the apartment is $300 extra for the week.    Accommodates: 8

There is a small study downstairs with a single bed but the cottage is limited to 6 people. There is a washer/dryer in the entry and another 3/4 bath downstairs. The kitchen, living and dining areas are open and all have views of the water. A small deck on the east and and south side has views also. The house has a propane furnace, microwave, coffee machine, toaster oven, TV, VCR, DVD, stereo, phone and a piano, charcoal grill and lawn furniture, good drinking water.
